When we were building our house, we knew that we needed a good dishwasher that was quiet, so we got a 24" Maytag quiet series with a large capacity.

Our main concerns were that the kitchen and den were very open to each other, so we knew we needed to get a quiet dishwasher in order to still hear conversations and tv while sitting in the den with the dishwasher running.

Also we needed a large dishwasher, so that we could fit all of the many dishes we use daily. With several kids, I always hated having to run the dishwasher multiple times a day (or washing things by hand!), so we opted for a larger capacity machine. We have been very pleased in the past 6 months that we've had it.

It is much better than our previous GE dishwasher that was smaller and much noisier. To be honest, the price was fairly high to get it, but all in all it has definitely been worth every penny. I?m sure we are saving money from using less water and using less dishwashing soap, since we run it less now though. Now we don't have to run the dishwasher so many times during the day, and when we do we don?t have to turn the tv up extremely loud in order to hear it.

It cleans very well, and I've not had any problems with water spots or glass-etching at all. It's been a very good dishwasher for the past several months, and if you're looking for a good (but a little expensive) one, then this is the one you need to get!
