The depth of this model is 24.75 inches and the height is 35.25 inches. There is insulation installed in this model to control and minimize sound and the model is Energy Star qualified. These features have proven to be pros and cons of this model.

Advantages and Disadvantages

One of the features that comes to an advantage and a positive aspect of this model are that it looks nice in any kitchen. The controls are hidden so you cannot tell it is a dishwasher in the kitchen.

Depending on the color it may match your cabinetry. The look of this dishwasher is one of the biggest benefits to purchasing this appliance.

If you have large pots and pans you need to clean then this dishwasher will provide enough space to fit them in. It is very spacious. Many people have to hand wash the big pots and pans because their dishwasher won’t fit them. You can adjust the rack heights so you can wash the extra large pots and pans now.

If you just have a large number of dishes then you will like it too. The racks in this model are flip down allowing for extra small items to fit easily inside them.

The pegs are reversible which force you to alternate rows of plates. This provides protection for your plates so the edges don’t run together.

The silverware container is extra large. This is nice because many dishwashers that have smaller silverware containers force you to cram all of your silverware into a little container. Often times the silverware doesn’t get clean. You can enjoy clean silverware with the extra big basket.

Another positive feature of this machine is that it is perfect for families who have small children, especially if you don’t want them playing with the buttons.

The controls on the front of the dishwasher are hidden so children won’t press any buttons in the middle of a load and force you to have to start the load over again.

Cons

However, the hidden controls may be good for children they also can be a disadvantage if you like to see how far along your dishwasher is in the cycle.

Many people think they want this feature and then realize later it is a problem.

You cannot glance at this dishwasher and know if the cycle is almost done. You might find yourself thinking it is completed and open it during the dry cycle too.

This Jenn Air model is also very loud. If you are looking for a dishwasher with a silent feature then this is not the one for you.

It does cause a disturbance because of the noise.Another negative aspect of this dishwasher is that it leaves spots on the dishes.

It performs very poorly and doesn’t clean the dishes as you would hope for. The spots are not from the wrong type of detergent but from the dishwasher poorly performing.

The wash cycles also take a very long time. It is best not to run a load of dishes with an expectation of needing your dishes cleaned quickly.

You should run the loads when you have the time to wait for the cycles to complete.

Final Thought

The cost of this dishwasher is much higher also then you would expect for a dishwasher with this type of performance.

The only thing the cost makes up for with this model is how nice the dishwasher looks in your kitchen and if you have children you don’t want messing with the dishwasher when the cycles are running.

If you have large and supersized pots and pans that you want to be able to fit inside your dishwasher then these might be right for you.

However, if you want a dishwasher that cleans your dishes well and is quiet then you might consider something else because this poor performing model won’t be right for you.
