ASKO D3112 Dishwasher

I recently moved into an apartment with an Asko dishwasher. While I didn't choose to purchase this dishwasher, I have enjoyed using it. It is simple to use and is very clean looking.
The stainless steel is very simple and there aren't huge buttons or unattractive dials on the front. It really adds a great look to the kitchen.
As for the dishwasher's performance, I have been generally pleased. I generally do not pre-wash anything or rinse plates before I load the dishwasher. I have always thought that if I was going to rinse dishes, I might as well wash them, too.
The Asko dishwasher does a great job of cleaning these items so that I rarely have to re-wash any dishes. There are several settings, including pots and pans, glasses and an extra hot wash. This appliance is energy efficient, yet I have not noticed any lack of power or heat. It seems to work as well as other dishwashers I?ve had.
My only complaint with the Asko dishwasher is that it does seem to hold smells a bit.
The inside of the dishwasher is stainless steel, not plastic like others I've had, yet it still traps smells if the dishwasher is not run immediately after it has been loaded. A smell also appears if I do not unload the dishwasher soon after it has completed it?s cycle. I don?t always have time to unload the dishwasher right when it finishes, so this can be a problem for me.
