Bosch SHE44C06UC/43

by Alissa
(Eatonville, WA)

We bought our black Bosch dishwasher from Sears in 2007 and I absolutely love it! There are several cycles to choose from, including a short cycle and a full cycle. The full cycle makes all of my dishes and silverware spotless. The short cycle is also great but I wouldn't recommend for heavily soiled pots and pans.

I am not one to rinse dishes off before washing so I was very happy when I noticed that no matter what we left on our plates, they came out clean. This is very important to me since I have 3 children and am often times rushed so I don't want to have to check my dishes before serving on them to make sure they are clean.

I am very happy with this dishwasher and would highly recommend it to others.

Very disappointed - broke down in 2.5 yrs (warranty lasted 2 yrs). We spent about $550 - $600 at Sears, on what was supposed to be a more reliable dishwasher. Sears charged $130.00 to diagnose it and said it would cost another $330.00 to fix it. So much for reliability.

That means we would have around $1000 into it. The repair person said that it was not unusual for the these heaters to go out on any dishwasher.
Unfortunately Sears was the only one who would service a Bosch in our area - took about a week to get someone out here, just to diagnose the problem.

Then they'd have to order the part and schedule a day to install it. His advice was to spend a lot less money on one, because by the time you have someone come and fix it, you could almost have a new one - you might call them disposable. I'm gonna take his advice and spend around $300-400 on a new dishwasher - it'll be a lot less painful to get rid of it.
