Double Drawer KUDD03DTSS

I bought this dishwasher two years ago and was initially very pleased. Unfortunately, within months, it became clear that operating both drawers simultaneously resulted in dirty dishwater draining from one drawer into the other.

Ultimately, over a period of just over two years, I have had no less than ten service calls for this model because of faulty drainage. The units will back up from time to time and there is nothing I can do to drain them. I have followed the manufacturer's directions on adding rinse-aids and only using half the amount of liquid dishwasher soap I used to use, but it does not make a difference.

Yesterday, both drawers spontaneously turned on, the motors began running, and the alarms began beeping.

After several minutes, neither of them had run through a wash, drain, or rinse cycle, but the motor was still running and beeping. I tripped the breakers to no avail and have since had to unplug the unit.

When I power it back up, the dishwashers both turn on again and begin beeping. I am thoroughly frustrated with this model and hope to replace it soon.
