Ours is 10 years old - we made the mistake, based upon suggestions by a intrepid repairman, of trying to get it repaired. Don't try this - $ 600 later we still have a non-working machine. It would have been much better to sink that $ 600 into a new machine.

We got 10 years of flawless service from ours, which was the first model they came out with. So we are looking at biting the bullet for another $ 1000, but we will have a machine that is truly wonderful.
