Frigidaire GLD2445RF Dishwasher Customer Opinions
There are so many features that is no way you could go wrong the purchase of this dishwasher unit from Frigidaire. But, the only way to know what is what is if you listen to the people that have spent the money in the first place:
I’ve owned my own home for nearly 40 years and out of all the dishwashers I’ve had this is the best one – by far. It is mostly as advertised.
Just recently – wouldn’t you know it – my husband and I were planning a big party and our old GE broke down just when we had the big party planned!
My husband and I couldn’t believe it but he fired up the internet and found this Frigidaire unit and it didn’t take too long either. We took the plunge on this low priced (as compared to others of nearly the same design) and it’s great.
It is still slightly noisy so not as quiet as the web site states and sometimes the touch pad get hard to press but that’s all normal wear.
My husband and I are not all that stylish so that never factored into our purchasing, however the styling and cleaning performance are top notch.
They call this unit quiet, and reviews I’ve read have stated this fact, but I think some of them need their hearing checked.
This could possibly be one of the loudest dishwashers I have ever owned. You don’t hear the motor but that’s because the actual washing of the dishes is loud enough to hide it.
I even had my husband add insulation below the washer by the back plates and that seemed to help out a lot, but it is still very loud in the sloshing department.
The actual drying of dishes is suspect so I'm going to try the heated drying on my next batch and see if it makes difference.
My previous dishwasher didn't require heated drying for the dishes to come out nearly dry. I think this is a classic case of getting what you pay for.
Consider that all other stainless steel models from other manufacturers are roughly $200 more on up for the same features.Buying a dishwasher is never an easy task and they are certainly costly additions to your home.
Take time in looking (if you can) and be sure it does what it’s supposed to do by reading customer reviews like I’ve provided above. That can save you hundreds of dollars.
