Frigidaire fdb1250res1

About 2 years ago, I was finally tired of washing dishes every day and we broke down and got the Frigidaire. This was my very first dishwasher so I don't have much experience as far as being able to make a good comparison with other makes and models. However, I can tell you that for a medium priced appliance it has been running really quietly and efficiently and gets the dishes clean without me having to do a lot of pre-rinsing.
This dishwasher runs quietly but it does takes forever to complete a cycle which is probably par for the course for most dishwashers. I found that the water needs to be preheated before starting the dishwasher up or it won't get the dishes so clean and if you don't get that little plastic cap for the jet dry stuff for the glassware on just right then it will fall out and melt during the dry cycle. However, we found that the Frigidaire parts department got the little cap out to us in less than a week so there is some decent back up service with the company.
Since I can tell you that this dishwasher has continued to run very smoothly for the past two years, I would definitely recommend it. I think that the professional installation was worth it and I would definitely recommend that you let someone do this for you unless you are really confident in your installation abilities.
This dishwasher is also capable of doing most of the cleanup after dinner for 8
