Frigidaire FDB1502RG (Built In)

We purchased our Frigidaire dishwasher in July of 2007 when we built our new house. We purchased it along with the matching range, microwave and refrigerator. We elected to buy the built in stainless steel model which we purchased from Factory Brand Appliances in Des Moines, IA.
We likely could have found a better deal elsewhere, but the builder that built our house contracted with this company for appliances, so we did not have much choice in terms of vendors. They did offer us a fairly nice deal for the entire suite of products. If I remember correctly, the appliances all together for the kitchen costs around 1000.00.
Now that we have been using the dishwasher for a little over a year, we are fairly satisfied. It looks great in our kitchen and the stainless steel does not get too many fingerprints and does not scratch. As for functionality, I would rate it satisfactory to good.
It runs pretty quiet and does have a number of cycle options such as normal, high temp, sanitize, and pots and pans. I can put my non stick cookware in the dishwasher and it comes out clean and does not ruin the non stick surface. The only complaint that I would have is that it doesn't dry quite thoroughly and when it does, it leaves residue on glasses.
I have used the dishwasher cleaner on a regular basis and that seems to help, but does not eliminate the problem. In Frigidaire's defense, I have never had a dishwasher that worked perfectly, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
All in all, we have been pleased. As I said before, it runs quietly, cleans well, and for the most part stays clean. If you are looking for a reasonably priced dishwasher that looks nice and is effective, I would definitely recommend. Stainless steel looks great in any home and this is definitely no exception. It is worth the buy for the money.
