Frigidaire Ultra Quiet II

This dishwasher was purchased and installed about 5 years ago and it is still running strong. Although the name says Ultra Quiet, it is hardly quiet. You can hear it running throughout the entire house. But I think this amount of noise is hard to avoid; I have yet to encounter a really quiet dishwasher.

It does an OK job of cleaning the dishes. If you want spotless dishes with this dishwasher, it is recommended that you hand wash the hard-to-clean dishes first. I have used dishwashers that will clean nearly everything you throw at it - this is not one of them.

One thing about this dishwasher is for sure - it is reliable. It has not needed any maintenance or cleaning since installing it. However, I would say that it only gets used once every 10 days to 2 weeks.

In conclusion, I would say this dishwasher serves as an adequate supplement to your household dishwashing needs. If you are the type that uses your dishwasher to do everything for you, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a dishwasher to help you clean the dishes on nights you are feeling a bit lazy, this dishwasher would not be a bad choice.
