GE Convertable Portable Dishwasher

We've only had this for about a year, but so far it works okay. I wouldn't normally care about even owning a dishwasher, but we got it as a Christmas present. The dishes come out clean, though we've had a couple times where it didn't get all the food off of the plates (even with the whole power shower technology), but we didn't really rinse them, so I suppose it's understandable.
One very good thing about it is the fact that it is portable. We don't have a very big kitchen, so my parents figured this would help. It really makes a difference when I can unplug the dishwasher and wheel it into our back closet just off the kitchen.
I didn't care for the limited color availability (our kitchen appliances are primarily red), but my parents bought it at Best Buy, and apparently what they had in their limited stock did not include red, or even black at the time. They may have all been bought at that point, but whatever the case the dishwasher sticks out in our kitchen like a sore thumb when we use it.
It is pretty quiet, and my family has had loud dishwashers, so I know what to compare it to. I can even watch our kitchen television without having to turn it up too loud.
Overall, it's a good dishwasher for the $400 my folks paid for it, but I still have to rinse my dishes despite the manual telling me otherwise, so I guess dishwashers haven't quite evolved that technology 100% just yet.
