White 16 Place Setting Temp Boost Energy Star Qualified

The GDWT200RWW is another nifty unit from GE that features a host of useful and convenient features in a stylish and durable body. The unit comes with a number of useful features that are designed for the ultimate in comfort and energy efficiency with its Energy-star qualified features.

Interior Features
  • Get dishes clean in a jiffy with the PureClean wash system with five stage filtration which continuously pushes soils through the multiple levels of filtration to ensure that grit is not redeposited in the clean dishware. The PureClean wash system features seven additional wash style jets that thoroughly clean the dishware, with a new middle wash arm dedicated for silverware. You also have the option of using the SaniWash cycle which reduces 99.99% of harmful germs and bacteria from your pots and pans.
  • The unit cleans pots and pans using the CleanSensor technology which uses a highly sensitive sensor to measure the soil levels and water temperature. The sensor determines the length of the cycle and controls the water temperature and the numbers of water fills.
  • There's a steam prewash option. The dishwasher stops the water circulation and then activates the calrod heater which heats up. Water dripping from the racks turn to steam the moment they touch the heater and this rises up and loosens the stains and soil on the pots and pans for easy removal. This eliminates the need to presoak or prerinse the dishes, saving you a lot of water and power.
  • The unit operates with the least amount of sound with the QuietPower 52 Sound package. This is reinforced with the sealed toe kick, the quiet water valve, and the tub collar trim. The Quiet Power motor also produces less sound compared to other motors.

    Exterior Features

  • The unit comes in a built-in configuratio and comes with a stainless door liner. The white exterior adds to the elegance of the unit. The unit is hard countertop ready which means installation can be done in a matter of minutes. The handle is color-matched and comes in the sleek and simple GE design that is fully integrated with the smooth, white door panel.

    Does not clean
    by: Anonymous

This dishwasher will not clean. We followed all troubleshooting tips. i.e. temp at 130. High drain loop at proper heights. Dishes loaded properly, hot water spigot turned on to get hot water, no low pressure, the cascade rinse and pellet used. Even tried the sani-wash with added heat. The dishwasher will not clean dishes, nor will it dry them even with the added heat setting turned on. Not only will not wash dishes that have been scraped as paperworks says it will, but unless everything is virtually washed with water and rubbed to remove everything before putting in washer, it will not clean. It won't even do as good a job as my old one that we had to replace because it didn't work right.

Called GE and got no satisfaction so I call store I bought it from in order to get someone to send a service person look at this dishwasher. He said there was nothing wrong with the machine. He said it was the Cascade dishwashing detergent sent with the dishwasher.

This dishwasher is still not cleaning or drying my dishes.

It is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. I can't get anyone to do anything about it. I have sent another email to GE, but expect I am stuck with a lemon and I might just as well give it to Goodwill and go buy someone else's brand.

This is what I emailed to GE again yesterday:
I had your service person look at this dishwasher. He said there was nothing wrong with the machine. He said it was the Cascade dishwashing detergent
you people sent with the dishwasher.

This dishwasher is still not cleaning my dishes. I I have tried everything the manual says. I have just scraped them and loaded - it did not work - my dishes came out with the food still on them. I tried using the steam and added heat. Basically I have to pre rinse everything and it still does not even dry the dishes.

I hate this thing. It is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. I am stuck with a lemon and I might just as well give it to Goodwill and go buy someone else's brand.
The 16 year old Whirlpool I had did better than your stinking dishwasher - and it wasn't working right.

I am so angry I can't even see straight. Since I don't seem to have any recourse, I am telling everyone I know and can blog not to buy GE.

Their response? They sent me a link to a GE site for more information on cleanibility issues. Everything I previously told them I had already done at the top of this comment.

Save yourself a lot of frustration and headaches. Buy another brand.
