The GE Profile 24” PDW9280SS is a dishwasher at the top of it's class. This is a fabulous dishwasher that has all the bells and whistle you could want.

In fact when looking at product reviews for the GE Profile it was hard to find negative remarks against this innovated dishwasher.

The GE profile retails for nearly One thousand two hundred dollars. For this price it better be good.

This dishwasher has many features not available on a standard dishwasher.

The main feature is called Smart Dispense Technology. This allows you to fill the dishwasher up with liquid dish washing detergent.

It will release the detergent as needed, based on the condition of the dishes and hardness of the water. It also has a feature called Towerless wash system with Clean Sensor.

This feature has six levels of washing action and a sensor that is watching for optimal cleanliness.

It also has an audible end of cycle signal. When this feature is turned on it will let you know when the load has completed it's cycle.

It gets the dishes clean and is an energy star rated item. So it not only cleans well but also saves money too. Customers love the quietness of this machine.

It runs and is hardly detectable. This dishwasher also has a feature that allows you to delay the wash cycle for 2, 4 or 8 hours.

This means that you can be washing dishes in your sleep or on your way to work when no one else in the house is using water.

The large size of the tub is a big feature that consumers really loved.

It is large enough to hold big pots and pans and yet it can still hold a 16 piece dish set. The designs of the racks are perfect for multiple purposes.

One customer has found that the wire racks are made of plastic components and are rather unstable. It takes a lot of effort to make them move in and out.

Another customer just did not like the layout that these racks provided her. She was having to do two loads of dishes a day to make them fit in properly.

Most of the customers said that it did do a good job cleaning. There were two reviewers who found that to get their dishes out spotless they were having to prewash before washing. One consumer claims that 20 percent of the load comes out dirty.

I believe their problems are probably resulting from layout of the racks. In most dishwashers there are spots designed for bowls, plates, glasses etc.

If these items are just stuck anywhere then they may not come out as clean as possible.

Final Thought

Of all the dishwashers on the market this one has received the highest ranks amongst customers. For the most part customers who have invested in this dishwasher are very satisfied with it's performance.

They love that fact that it is so quiet you can't tell it is on. They are impressed with it's clean capabilities and are over all pretty happy with this purchase.

Of the customers who was not impressed with the GE Profile dishwasher, their chief complaint was that it just does not get the job done.

Dishes are left with food on them and do not come clean in the dishwasher. But with so few customers complaining of this problem I am lead to believe that this is an individual problem that may be resulting from placement of the dishes into the dishwasher.

I would say it is safe to say that the GE Profile dishwasher is well worth it's money for someone looking for a high end dishwasher for their home.
