GE Profile Series

I purchased this Profile Series dish washer in 2003 from a local hardware and housing supply company. It is a stainless front washer with black trim.

The overall look is very nice and I purchased the matching refrigerator, oven, and microwave.

The cleaning ability of this machine is very good. My wife and I have been very pleased with it. We used to have to basically wash the dishes before we could put them in our old machine.

Now we dump the large stuff in the compost and stick the plate in the machine. It has some kind of small grinder device in the bottom that we were told helped dispose of washed off food waste.

It has been run at least twice a week for the past 5 years and has never had a glitch. It is not as quiet as I had been led to believe it would be, but compared with older models it is still much quieter.

Overall, I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10.
