Hotpoint HDA2000GWW

One thing I can say about having a dishwasher is that it makes a world of difference not having to hand wash dishes for a large family. Being budget conscious my first priority was cost and then the effectiveness of the product. I couldn't be too choosy about what I wanted in my price range but I feel that what I did select was exactly what I needed and wanted and all in all the dishwasher is just as impressive as more expensive models.

I have the Hotpoint HDA2000GWWn 3 cycle dishwasher, while being on the economical side, it does the work that needs to be done. My dishes come out clean and sparkling every time. It's easy to use and set and is fairly quiet. I like that there aren't too many buttons to figure out and that the dish washing detergent cups are easy to access.

On occasion I have had to rinse heavily soiled dishes before putting them into the dishwasher, but I have had to do that with others before as well, so this doesn't put me off one bit. However, my only complaint is the wheels on the bottom basket fall off all the time, not a major issue it's easy to secure them and snap them back on.

Overall, for the money, the dishwasher impresses and does exactly as I need it to do without all the overpriced bells and whistles. If you are on a budget and looking for a dishwasher that will leave you satisfied with every wash, you will want to check out the Hotpoint HDA2000GWW.

This dishwasher is small enough not to take up too much space but spacious enough to handle the dishes of a larger family. You will find for the price it does everything it promises to do for your family.

Loud, but effective!
by: RH

Had this dishwasher for about a year now, and it's a cheap but very good dishwasher! My parent's samsung dishwasher is silent, but the dishes come out grimy 75% of the time. This one roars like a beast out of Hades, but I can count the number of times dishes didn't come out clean on one hand.

Does not clean dishes well
by: Deborah Johnson

I have the Hotpoint Dishwasher model HDA2000G02WW, and I have had it for about a year. I would give it a ranking of about a 2 out of a five. There are a few things that I do like about the dishwasher, it is compact and it is not very noisy. The things that I don’t like about it is that it does not clean the dishes that well even if I put ample amounts of dishwasher detergent in the machine. The other thing I don’t like about this dishwasher is that it takes too long to complete a cycle.

I would not recommend this washer to anyone, I purchased it because it was on sale and I desperately needed a washer, but if you can afford to get a better make and model I would recommend it. I have to put fewer dishes in when I use it in order to get my dishes fairly clean. The best suggestion I have is if you do have this dishwasher is to use the best dishwasher detergent on the market because it will help the dishes to get as clean as they can under the circumstances.

I also found that it is best not to use the dishwasher too often because it will have a tendency to leak when the overuse gets water trapped inside of the unit and it leaks underneath the unit and that can cause mold, so be careful not to constantly use the machine, only use it when you have to in order to avoid having a mess to clean up afterwards.

Also do not put your valuable crystal or expensive pieces of glassware into the machine, it may come out with a scratch on it and I don’t think you would want that
