As far as cleaning dishes goes, and for being a quiet dishwasher, this is pretty good. But, that's about as far as it goes.
First of all, the control panel, they call it a crown assembly, PN W10335626, sits right above the outlet vent. Which, in and of itself is OK, but the dim-wit that designed it (or should I say, approved the design) designed the vent for the washer to vent into the cavity right below the control panel WITH NO DEFINITIVE WAY TO EXIT THE STEAM WITHOUT ALLOWING THE STEAM INTO THE CONTROL PANEL.
I've replaced mine twice in 14 months. The first one was under the 1 year warrantee. I thought it was just a coincidence. NOT.
Buy the extended warrantee for the time you think you will own the dishwasher.

So you bought this LEMON well so did I ! Because I have an L on my forehead, I was hoping for clean and quiet. Quiet, yes, but since the Gasket leaks steam and water into the circuits and shorts out the mother board on a regular basis, and the parts come from mexico which you have to wait 6-8 WEEKS for, after waiting 2 weeks for an apt. I would be better off spending my money on more dish soap and a rack to dry the dishes on-since we hand wash more than the dishwasher runs a cycle. Sad to say, I will not purchase another sears Kenmore appliance again
