We bought our Kenmore dishwasher a little over two years ago and have had nothing but problems. It gets stuck in the glass wash and quick rinse cycles unless we nudge the dial a hair.

This started about a week after the warranty ran out. If we don't turn the dial it will run forever literally. I can't start the dishwasher before I leave the house or go to bed because I have to make sure that I am listening for it so I can try to time when to turn the dial. When we called Sears out to look at it we were told the timer was bad.

They wanted to charge us more for the repair then the dishwasher actually cost!!! We declined since we had just retired from the military and I was recovering from spinal surgery. We figured we would fix it ourselves except for one problem....can't find the timer for sale any where.

Never again we will buy a Kenmore. Since Sears merged with Kmart the quality has gone down the drain. We thought we could trust the Kenmore name since we had a Kenmore microwave that stood up to 5 military moves(including 1 to Iceland) and 3 boys. It served us well for 15 years untill one day it started to sound like a Harley motorcycle. Kenmore used to stand for outstanding quality, now it is as cheaply made as the goodie bag toys you get at the Dollar Store.
