Kenmore Quietguard Model #587.1414

This dishwasher appliance came with our new home, along with a Kenmore range and Microwave.

It is in color a black appliance, which is not the best color if you have pets, it seems to be an electromagnet at attracting pet hair, it also shows fingerprints. If I had my choice, I would have chosen the stainless steel.

It does function at very high rate of excellent cleaning and drying, at a scale of one to ten ( ten being the best) I would rate the cleaning of efficiency at a ten, and the drying proficiency at an eight. Plastic containers remain slightly wet on top.

It is perhaps the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned and would give that rating a nine. There is sufficient room for loading, and I like the silverware tray.

I have not had any problems with items "flying around" when the machine is run. I have owned Kenmore appliances before, and have always valued sears as an excellent company, true at their word, value, and having excellent repair services and warranties.

I would purchase another Kenmore appliance in the future. It is also a nice feature when you purchase a new home to have brand new quality appliances ready and waiting for you like an early Christmas present.
