Kenmore QuietGuard

by Erin Ward
(Hilton, NY, USA)

This particular dishwasher was already installed when I moved into my apartment. It was a brand new installation, however. I have had it for approximately 2 years. I really like this washer, and it's very compact, which is good for an apartment.

It's very reliable, and it washes dishes great. I never have trouble with spots or stuck on food. It has a lot of options, and plenty of space despite being compact. The drawers are on rolling wheels, which is nice, because you can pull them out further, to use the dishwasher to it's full capacity.

The only problem I've ever had with it, was that it leaked on my kitchen floor. Maintenance came in to check it, and I had accidentally covered the sprayer, so it wasn't even the dishwashers fault! Compared to my parents dishwasher, it's much better.

My parents' dishwasher (a GE) leaks all the time, and has had to be repaired several times in a 5 year period. I know from looking that this model is not very expensive, I know when I move into my first home, I will buy either this particular model, or at least one that is in the Kenmore line.

I'm ruined for other dishwashers! I've been spoiled by the Kenmore. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher to anyone.
