Kenmore - Ultra Wash 665

by GadgetHero
(Cream Ridge, NJ)

We bought the Kenmore Ultra Wash 665 dishwasher about 8 years ago when we moved to this new home. I bought it at Sears and had it installed by them. We use it every day and have been very happy with it performance. It cleans anything we put in it and runs very quite as well.

It has two racks with plenty of storage for dishes, plates, glasses, and utensils as well. There are a number of options for washing various items and you can adjust the run time as well. We normally mix in all of the dishes in one load and run it every night.

The unit allows you to use soap powder or liquid soap and has a container for it on the inside of the front door. We have recently switched to the solid block of cleaner and have had great results with this. If you haven’t used these they are about 1 inch square and contain enough soap and rinsing agent for an average load. You can simply slide it into the slot on the door and your all set. It saves us the hassle of spilling soap powder on the floor.

In addition to the upper and lower racks which slide out for easy loading, there is a utensil cage that is removable and an extension shelf on the top rack for knives or odd shaped items like a pizza cutter. Having the utensil cage removable makes it easier to load and empty when the knives and forks are clean. Overall, I really like this dishwasher and would recommend it to others.
