Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher model # 665.15882

We picked out our dishwasher when we were building our new home in 2001. We bought a Kenmore dishwasher because they have always been reliable. Also, the store had a great deal on the appliance.

We love the features our dishwasher has. It is the quietest dishwasher I have ever had. We designed our house with the kitchen open to the family room. So, you can hear any noise in the kitchen very well. I set my dishwasher to start after supper almost every night . We can sit in the family room and watch tv completely undisturbed byt the dishwasher sounds.

I am able to get everything into the racks, even large pieces. The top or bottom rack can be raised or lowered in order to fit taller items. It's very easy to adjust them as needed. Also, the tines on the rack can be moved and actually laid down if you have a really large casserole dish to wash. It also has clips that hook onto the tines and hold cups or lids in place.

I also love all the different settings the dishwasher has. If I'm in a hurry, I can choose the Timesaver cycle and the dishes are washed and dried in 48 minutes. Also, there is a quick rinse cycle if you don't plan to wash the dishes that day. The dishwasher even has a cycle for fine china and crystal. In addition, it has a pots and pans and antibacterial cycle.

The only negative thing about this dishwasher is that sometimes, it does not clean everything. If I forget to rinse the dishes well or something dries on the dishes, it may not come off. It used to clean much better. I guess I may have to replace the dishwasher at some point. But, we will definitely purchase another Kenmore. We would not go with any other brand.

Are you using a good detergent?

Try buying a good brand of dishwashing soap like Cascade. Also, maybe you don't have enough water pressure coming through the arms, maybe food is caught somewhere. My Ultra Wash has always cleaned my dishes sparkling. Love my Kenmore dishwasher!

Well, the name says it all but I don’t if it does all that so well. The dish washer unit came with the house when purchased five years ago. Needless to say, with four adults and two dogs, the dish washer is getting plenty of exercise, probably about four to five times per week.

I will say that – considering its heavy use – the dishes appear to be very clean most of the time. Heavy, caked-on food that has not been rinsed off well before getting into the washer does have residue from time to time. The upper and lower dish racks do hold a considerable capacity, though our slightly larger dinner plates are relegated to only the left side portion of the lower dish rack (where only two may fit in under optimal stowing) since the remaining areas will bump into the water spinner just below the lower dish rack.

We don’t play with the timer settings so much, but I have attempted to see if there is any significant difference between washing with the normal wash and water miser settings. I can’t honestly say this is a good thing but, for the energy and water conscious, the water miser setting seems to perform on an equal basis to the normal wash. As far as the quiet of the Quiet Guard model, when we run the volume high on the television it manages to dull the noise somewhat from the washer.

Unless you like to listen to things loud around the dishwasher, I suggest moving far, far away from the room. When it’s finally time to put the dishes away, warmth is still present after the cycle has stopped. Unfortunately, the glasses on the upper rack all too often need an additional toweling off before being put away. Again, we inherited this model but you don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

I am very much satisfied with Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher

Last year I went to my friend's house. They had bought a new dishwasher i.e. Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher model # 665.15882. I was also planning to buy a dishwasher for my own new house and so I had gone to consult them. When they showed me their dishwasher, I was very much impressed by the looks and the efficiency of the product.

I came back home and ordered the same product for my home, on the same day. I did not had to think over it because it belonged to a very reliable company 'Kenmore'. Now I have been using this dishwasher for an year and I am very much satisfied with it. I am very happy that I had made a good decision by buying it.

My family too appreciates my decision of buying it. Before buying it, washing utensils was among the most difficult tasks for me. But this product has made my work very easy and it helps me saving a lot of time. What I love the most about this product is that it works very quietly and sometimes I have to open its door to check whether it is working or not. You will not hear any noise from it.

Moreover, the dishes cleaned and washed by it are always spotless and stainless. The product looks very elegant and beautiful and it really suits my kitchen. We chose the product because it is not very expensive and it is not very big in size. The product can be easily operated by even a seven years old child because of its ease of use.

I love its performance and efficiency. The product can be easily cleaned with a soft cotton cloth. The tubs of this dishwasher are made of stainless steel and there is no need to worry about any kind of damage. I love this product very much and highly recommend it to others.

Leaves the dishes sparkling

The Kenmore Model 665 is by far the best dishwasher I have ever had. With a choice between a heavy duty Pots and Pans wash, normal wash, light wash, or a quick rinse- I have had fun just playing around with the cycle choices and seeing which ones work best. I have to say they are all great and really do serve a purpose; the extra buttons aren’t just for show like you see on some models- they are functional.

The fact that I can't hear our dishwasher (the fabulous Quiet Guard is amazing) when it runs is probably the best feature of all- you really can't hear it unless you are in the kitchen right at the counter where it is located.

My husband enjoys being able to use the delay (which lets you choose between 2, 4, or 6 hours) to set it for at night when we are in bed so that his favorite coffee mug is ready for morning. It’s also a great feature for saving the hot water for bedtime baths, so I guess it serves a few purposes- most importantly not forgetting to start it.

Another great feature is the air dry which, actually works not to mention saves energy which is great for the environment, so we get to have a great dishwasher and not be so hard on the earth.
As for room- you can load your dishes from an entire meal (pots, pans, everything) into one cycle and get your dishes sparkling clean with one cycle and be ready for the next morning or meal with no problems and no leftover food particles to deal with.

As for looks- like all Kenmore products I have had to date, the design is sleek and user friendly and works well with all décor.
