The garbage disposal is garbage. The keypad wore out within 16 months and its part of the front top assembly and costs as much as the pump motor. The garbage disposal plugs easily and cannot process such foods as rice, macaroni, lettuce, etc.

So it's NOT a garbage disposal. What it is IS a food collector that clogs and ensure NO water pumps thru the wash system. When it's clean, water pumps great and it washes fine.

If you have teenagers or are yourself too lazy to rinse all your dishes, then don't buy this dishwasher.
