Was sold on the Kitchenaid name and stainless steel construction. We found the normal cycle to be very long and eventually the machine became rather loud. Glassware came out cloudy despite using rinsing agents, variable temperatures and trying different cleaning agents and strengths. They were also often covered in debris despite rinsing beforehand.

The final straw was a broken pump after 15 months of ownership and lately a faulty circuit board. After 5 years, the cost of repairs is more expensive than replacing the unit. Response from manufacturer was unsympathetic.

Recommendation: Unless you plan on replacing the unit within 5 years, this unit was not worth the investment due to poor performance and short lifespan.
