I would not buy this dish washer unless you want to dry your dishes. We have had 3 different service men out and it still does not dry dishes at all. It has no heat to it. Don't need a dishwasher that you have to dry dishes...you can do that without a dish washer. I would not recommend this dish washer for anyone.
I bought this because I have an LG TV and love it. Within six months, the drain pump failed. Only one repair person in the region who could fix it so it took a while to repair, but at least under warranty. Continuous issues with poor drying and dirty dishes. Now the pump is broken again less than a year later. I also bought an LG fridge which has a problem keeping the doors closed-when you open and close the door, the freezer door bounces open and doesn't re-close properly so if you don't pay attention, you defrost everything inadvertently. In would never buy another kitchen appliance from LG.

My LG is 18 months old and leaks from the exhaust vent at the door bottom. Does so everytime it is run. Will never purchase another LG product. From what I read on the internet this is a problem common to LG dishwashers. So LG - "Leaks Good"

Simply doesn't clean the dishes. I have all LG appliances in the kitchen. All are good except the dishwasher. It is pretty looking, but it doesn't work for the reasons others have mentioned and the service guys don't help.

This is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. Leaks out the door unless I tip it backwards, dishes are either wet or dirty when its done and its very loud. I've only had it for a year and half and the repair guy was useless. As soon as I save enough money I'll be buying a different one. Definitly not worth the price tag!!!!!

An expensive land fill item. Thin nylon rope for the door balance system. Leaks out the door vent. There is an upgraded casing assembly avalible. If you run the dishwasher late at night and don't open the door until morning the dishes will be dry.... Haven't had much luck with dishwashers in general. Paper plates and plastic sporks...

I've only had my dishwasher for four years and the past 6 months, I'm having the exact same problem. I've already had to replace the racks as the first set started to rust after a year. Although, LG did send me the replacements racks for free. Now my dishwasher will not dry the dishes at all, and a lot of the time the dishes are still dirty. I was contemplating whether to call a repair guy, or just ditch this dishwasher and move on. After reading your comments, I think it's time to move on and try another brand.

I had the exact same problem with my LG. After 2 years it no longer dried my dishes. After way too many service calls, of which, nothing helped, I used my replacement warranty on a Kitchen aid, and hope to have better luck!
