LG LDF6920ST

by Tonya
(Las Vegas, NV)

I just bought a condo and this dishwasher happened to have come with it. I'm very happy with it so far. I've lived in my condo for about 6 months now and I have had no problems with my dishwasher.

It's actually a very high-tech and nice machine. Usually everything I purchase from LG is of extremely good quality, and this dishwasher is no different. I have a long list of things that I love about this dishwasher so I guess I'll start at the beginning! My favorite thing is the large display that is on the front of the dishwasher.

The digital timer tells me how long my wash cycle has left, much like my washer and dryer. I also love that this dishwasher is HUGE. I can fit pretty much all my dishes from a few days into it including large pots and pans!

Also, if I need to fit an odd fitting item into the dishwasher, I can adjust the racks so that I can fit something unusually large or oddly shaped, it's wonderful. It is also a very beautiful dishwasher, it has a really nice design that is a great compliment to my kitchen.

I have yet to put a cup into this dishwasher and have it tipped over and full of water at the end of the cycle. That would happen constantly with my other dishwashers and I'm glad to not have to re-wash my dishes all of the time. It also offers several different wash cycles and it's quiet, which is another plus.

Overall, this is a great machine and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the market for a new dishwasher. I haven't had problems with it so far and I'm hoping I won't in the future, besides the routine maintenance.

Not the Best for This Price
by: Anonymous

Pros
- Thuge rack capacity
- Quiet process

Cons
- Low overall performance compared to price
- Closely packed spray jets

Dishwasher as its name denotes is a machine for washing dishes. Dishwasher has become a common appliance in today’s modern houses.I have already encountered with a dishwasher in my home. My dishwasher is LG LDF6920.

This product is manufactured and distributed by one of the most famous home appliances manufactures that we have today called LG. The model is LDF6920. It’s a 24 inch built-in type of dishwasher. The control type is of electronic with 5 wash cycles. We thought of buying a new dishwasher after our old one was dead.

When we went to a nearby shop, we thought to try LG. the shopkeeper recommended us to boy this product. The color was black and the product was huge. Our first impression was the enormous rack to place the dishes and still it had enough spaces left even after all our dishes were kept.

This product was energy star approved (A program by United States government to promote energy efficient consumer products) and so no energy wastage even with this huge size. It has an anti-flooding device placed inside to prevent flooding and a fully integrated door. The dimension was 24 x 33 x 23 and weighs 90 pounds.

The working of this product was very advanced that it measures the water murkiness during its first rinse with the help of an LED light. During the second rinse, it automatically adjusts the time and water for proper cleaning. The process was very quiet for the first days while it starts making itchy noises after 5 to 6 months.

The price was 750 USD. I must admit that this product was not the best for this price. I would recommend all my friends to go and try some other product, may be LG itself, but not this one.

I LOVE this dishwasher! Never have contributed a review anywhere before but I think so much of this appliance that I am writing a positive review. We have a large family, entertain a lot and I also do some professional cooking for television. The large capacity dishwasher handles it all.

Have put in heavily soiled pans with crystal wine glasses in same load and everything came out sparkling. Dried egg yolk? No problem. Baked on mac & cheese? No problem. Even washed cruddy grills from outdoor barbeque, as well as my oven racks in this machine. Did not get off all the burnt crusted material, but came close. I do scrape off the worst of the stuck on food but nowhere close to what I had to pre-rinse with old machine.

The large capacity and adjustable racks make it easy to fit in large items. I had to do a bit of finagling with the oven racks to get them to fit, but they went in dirty and came out clean.

Few nights ago we had a lot of company and a lot of dishes. My husband's turn to do dishes & he fell asleep before he got to it in the late evening. I actually enjoyed loading everything in and running the machine. Now that can be interpreted as sick, or that I really love this machine's capabilities.

Purchased 6 weeks ago and after reading some of the negative comments, am hoping it continues to perform at this high level. Bought a 5 year warrenty which also includes a 10 year major component coverage for $99.00.

Not silent machine but very quiet enough that we can watch TV or entertain in kitchen and connected family room with no difficulty. Only problem is getting used to the door opening so low to the floor, and occasionally banging my ankles on it. It's a fair trade for how much I can fit into the machine.
