Summary: The best dishwasher I ever used!!

I have lived in apartments for the better part of 15 years. Each time I move there are a few amenities that I look for every time. Being a bachelor a dishwasher is without a doubt one of the most important amenities I look for. Normally the quality of these dishwashers was average at best, that is, until I moved into my latest apartment. Installed here was a Maytag Full Console Dishwasher. The unit was brand new and along with the rest of the kitchen just recently installed. I looked up this model on the internet to find out what people were thinking of it and for the most part people really liked it.

After a few days of dirtying some dishes I decided to give the dishwasher a try. The washer has 4 settings which are heavy, normal, light and rinse only. I used the normal setting the first time to see how good a job it would do. In the past on other machines I always had to use the heaviest setting to get a decent clean.

I was impressed with the amount of room that was inside. My large pasta bowl fit in without a problem. I do not think anyone will have any issues fitting their bigger items in this machine. After the cycle completed I opened up the unit and was pleasantly surprised at how well the dishes were cleaned. There was not a scrap of food or anything on any plate, utensils or glasses. I was very, very impressed.

The unit is energy star certified which really helps on the electric bill. It also runs very, very quiet. I did not think a dishwasher could be this quiet! My kitchen is right off the living room and when I run the washer it does not interfere at all with watching television at my normal volume.

I have been using this washer for about 8 months now and absolutely love it! If you are looking for a dishwasher this is one unit you cannot go wrong with. It cleans great, runs quiet and is energy star certified. Go out and buy this washer now!
