FIRE! Have loved this dishwasher's cleaning performance since the day we bought it, until today when it caught fire! Worse, a little research on the internet discovered the machine was recalled in 2007 due to fire hazard issues!

We did not ever receive notice of this in spite of having the same contact information since we registered the product upon purchase! Good grief thank God we happened to run it in the middle of the day instead of during the night like we usually do! Whirlpool's customer service once again is an EPIC FAILURE!!
