Maytag MDB2200AWE

by Delilah
(Winfield, TN USA)

I remember my excitement in the year 2000, when I decided to buy my first modular home. I knew there were a few things in my new home that I must have and one of them was a dishwasher. In that particular modular home, they had a Maytag dishwasher. I had never owned a dishwasher before, so I was very ecstatic to get one.

After I had bought my Fleetwood home, they came to connect my dishwasher and I started using it right away. It was so quiet and cleaned the dishes so well. It came in so handy when I had company over that I just absolutely fell in love with it.

As a couple of years went by, it started making a few noises that I thought might become a problem so I spoke with an appliance repairman. He said that I needed to clean the bottom out and remove some of the food scraps that had been trapped there over time. He also suggested that I use only powder detergent instead of gel because over time the gel will cause mechanical problems to the motor. So after following these simple instructions my dishwasher once again became the apple of my eye.

I really like the features that it came with such as the energy saver button that allows me to either air dry or heat dry the dishes. If I want to save energy then I can or if I want the convenience of dry dishes then I can have that also. I would definitely recommend the Maytag dishwasher to anyone because of its durability. It’s been eight years now and it’s still going strong.
