Maytag MDB8600AWW

If your reading this than you should know that this model has a SERIOUS history of failing at the handle or latch assembly.

Every on the internet it has been identified that there is clearly a manufactural defect that has not been fixed.

Not only did my latch fail so did the HARD POINTS on the inside of the CONTROL PANEL.

This washer has had only 3 full years placed on it and it has failed...at just under 700.00 at sears I'm pissed.

Maytag you can kiss my !#@.

This dishwasher is not much good for anything other than filling a gap in the kitchen counter. The contol panel has failed twice in 4 years and the latch broke in the 2nd year. DO NOT BUY MAYTAG or the affiliated brands (Jenn Air, Whirlpool).

I have a three year old MDB8750AWS, Touch panel just failed for the third time. Great unit when it works, nothing to complain about because it wont even start, washing the dishes by hand is OK, I'm just out $700, but the unit looks great as a kitchen prop.
