Maytag, You just lost a loyal customer.  After only 38 months of use, in a household with only 2 adults, the touch pad control needs to be replaced at a cost of over $300 for parts and labor.  We paid $360 for the dishwasher in the first place. (Plus extra to have it professionally installed.)  Be ashamed of yourselves for this kind of poor design.  Don't talk about extended warranties either.  That is no way to cover up for poor design/craftsmanship.  Mary SchuetteEatonville WA
