I spent $2500 on this dishwasher and it is terrible. It does not clean the dishes consistently at all. Almost every time I open the washer to empty it, I must put back several things to be rewashed, or I wash them by hand. Also, the dishes are usually soaked and must sit for several hours to get close to the kind of dry that all my previous dishwashers accomplished.

This creates a huge headache if I need to put through more than one load of dishes. Also, the door will not prop opened to vent (at the end of the cycle). It operates via a spring at the bottom of the door. This is so primitive that it only works to EITHER keep the door propped opened to vent the machine OR lay flat to load - not both.

I have had the 'repair' team at my house 3 times to adjust the door, to look at the cleaning problem and to see to the issue with 'drying'. Nothing has helped and they just keep telling me there is nothing wrong with the machine. I told them that I am unhappy with it, but they refuse to take it back. Now they are not returning my calls.

I cannot stress enough; my advice to anyone out there contemplating purchasing this machine; DON'T DO IT!!

Miele does NOT stand behind it's machines. They do NOT OFFER COMPLETE SATISFACTION OR YOUR MONEY BACK!! That is completely untrue. I have been dealing with them, asking for my money back since the week I bought it. They have refused to do so.
