So you want fine German craftmanship. Well you will pay. They are much more expensive that most other brands and parts are not available other than thru authorized repair shops. Do they work? Yes very good no problem here.

Now try to have one repaired! I live in San Diego, CA. The nearest authorized repair shop is in Beverly Hills! 110 miles away! So imagine what the service show up cost is!

Think you can save money having the local repair guy do work. No all they do is hear the name and tell you to call the factory.

Good, complicated product with no service base of support. Buy the three top of the line Maytages or Kenmores over time you will be way ahead.
