|Quality is exceptional - not just in the working of the machine but the installation hardware, accessibility of connections, etc. Works wonderful!~AppliancesConnection customer |
|This dishwasher was recommended by my parents who purchased it months earlier. Love the stainless interior tub, and the quick wash does an awesome job! I intend to try the Eco wash soon. Love it.~AppliancesConnection customer |
|Order and delivery process was smoothly, albeit a bit slow. This seems endemic in the appliance field. Delivery guys were polite and helpful, they even took the packing materials away. Would definitely use this company again.~AppliancesConnection customer |
|Self installed fairly easily and so far it works great. It`s so quiet, you can`t hear it working even if you are up close. Meets all my expectations.~AppliancesConnection customer |
|Bought the black Bosch built-in dishwasher when my very old Kenmore gave out. I like the stainless steel interior walls. The space between the bottom rack and the top rack give you lots of room for large dishes and pans. The drying process is different as it has vents on the side to save energy - you do have to remember not to open the door or the drying will stop. It is very quiet, I can only hear the low sound of water when I am standing near it. The only reason I did not give it an outstanding rating is the length of time it takes to do a load seems a bit long.~Sears customer |

|I was worried that there was not drying mechanism. My dishes are always dry and super shiny. I've never seen my silverware so shiny. I probably couldn't getting my stainless wear this shiny if I buffed it. Watch the video on youtube on how to load a Bosch and your dishes will always come out dry. The cups are meant to lean a little to allow the water run off and dry easier. My plastic comes out dry, except for the grooves on some lids. Having said that, plastic still comes out drier and cleaner than it did with my old heated dry machine. I like that it uses much less energy too.
Bosch washes dishes at a higher temperature than any other brand. This is very evident when you start using your machine. This was a big selling point for me.
I NEVER rinse my dishes. I only scrape. They always come out clean. I've only had one cycle not come out clean. This was because I loaded pots and pans and didn't use the power scrub plus option. The next time I put pots and pans in and used that option, everything came out clean.
My kitchen is open to our living area. I really wanted a quiet dishwasher. You don't need one any quieter. You don't even need the time delay option, because the machine is silent. I can't even hear it when I turn it on. I have to lean my head down to try and listen for some action. The only sound I hear is the water draining from underneath are sink. Unbelievable! I was tempted to buy the more expensive dishwashers just for the lower decibals. I'm so glad I didn't.
I think that's all. I love it.
Oh yea, as far as the funny smell coming from inside the machine. I have noticed it. I just cleaned the filter, let the water drain that was inside the filter. Problem solved. I've done this a couple of times and I've owned the machine for a about six weeks.~Sears customer
|This product is quiet, compared to other dishwashers that I have used, and it fits perfectly in my newly refurbished kitchen.~AJMadison customer |
|We have waited a long time to purchase a dishwasher and this one is fantastic. We are really pleased with how clean things come out and how quiet it is compared to other dishwashers.~AJMadison customer |
|I believe it is only the third dishwasher that I have been personally involved with, however, that still leaves me happy and impressed. More versatile for loading, much quieter... and my dishes actually come out almost entirely clean! I like it!~AJMadison customer |
|Im very pleased with my decision as it is all the DW the average person needs, and its dead simple to use, which I like, as I just want to load it and hit a button.~AJMadison customer |

|Used it only once, but we find the unit completely satisfying. The front appearance is a bit to plain but that is acceptable.
Only concern we have if we should ever have repair issues, can we easily find part for it? We understand the manufacturer is moving out of US.
As to AJ Madison service, they are number one in my book. Easy to contact, good service, timely response to your needs and prompt delivery. It is refreshing to find this type of service. We will continue purchasing our needs through them.~AJMadison customer |
|To say this is quiet is an understatement. If there is any other noise in the room like a refrigerator or talking you will not hear this unit run (be sure to install the two bottom covers along with the noise insulation thats provided). Its very quiet. Lots of adjustments in the rack as well as height and many wash options. The front controls are a big plus and something I was looking for rather than the hidden. Most of the time I use the quick wash (approx 30 mins) and that is all thats needed. Plastics don't dry but that was the case with my old unit as well, everything else dries fine though. This was also the #1 ranked unit in CR beating out some much more expensive models. ~Amazon customer |
|The capacity is good, not great, one reason why I can only give it four stars. People talk about "holding place settings for 6," but they never mention what happens to those place settings when you add a pot or pan or a broiling rack or pan! But we're only two people and on a daily basis, this more than meets our needs.
Drying: Ah, drying. This has been a problem with many of our dishwashers. We've tried all the products for drying from Jet-Dry to a "cake" that was made to fit in the dispenser. We washed the dishes after dinner and let it go through the cycles and left the dishes and pots and pans to dry overnight. In the morning, there would still be spots that were wet though the dishes were dry and squeaky clean. Basically, we were running into the age-old problem on the lips of pots and the tops of cups filling with too much water for the machine to dry. Cups we dealt with by lying them on their sides, and that really worked. Pots or pans with lips we loaded on top when possible, and they were the first things we took out in the morning, and hand wipes the lips. And now - so we added 60 seconds to the unloading routine - all is well.~Amazon customer
|Let's face it, when it comes to appliances, the Germans make damn good stuff. This machine is a dream. It actually cleans my dishes wonderfully. Imagine that. Unlike the Whirlpool dishwasher it replaced, It doesn't leave the dishes cloudy. It leaves them spotless. It doesn't leave soap film all over my dishes like my Whirlpool did. It also doesn't throw bits of foods that it washes off the other dishes and redeposit them onto the glasses or other dishes or bake them on after that if I use Sani-Rinse.~Amazon customer |
|After buying it, I had a bit of buyers remorse. The rack is great for loading saucers and plates, but it is hard to load cups and bowls. We used to load cups on the sides of the top rack, but on the Bosch, if you do that, you can't put plates next to it, unless you have ridiculously small tea cups. There are a lot of very narrowly spaced bars that don't work so well for big items and bowls. You can move the bars down, but if you can't nest the bowls, you really can't put many bowls in. There are some wider spaced bars for bowls on the top rack, but not many. Overall, it does not seem to hold as much as my older dishwasher because of these inefficiencies in loading bowls and cups. I also did not like the controls that much. When you turn the on/off switch on, it immediately starts the cycle. It doesn't allow you to pick which cycle. You can change cycles after it finishes. I'm still figuring this out, but I left it on auto mode, which seems to work.
Now the good part, this is the first dishwasher I have ever used that I can just put in really dirty dishes and it will clean them without pre-rinsing or scraping. I put in plates with stuck on cheese and pasta that I could not scrape off without a scotchbrite pad. After the cycle, they were very clean. They recommend using Finish quantum pellets, but I was using the cascade gel I was using from my previous dishwasher and it work fine. So this makes cleaning dishes much faster. Just wipe off anything loose particles and put the soiled dish in. I really like this about this dishwasher. Maybe all new dishwashers are like this, but I'm happy that this cleans so well. ~Amazon customer

|We bought this dishwasher a month ago, and are generally pleased with it. It washes the dishes well, and is sufficiently adjustable to take tall items in either shelf. It is extremely quiet. It takes 105-120 minutes to run a cycle, but that's standard these days for energy efficient machines. I do wish that instead of a countdown, the LED display would show what part of the cycle it was at (wash, rinse, or dry).
Our major complaint is that the tines that separate and support the dishes aren't well suited for our dishes. They all slant, and they are fairly close together, so putting in glasses or mugs or pitchers is difficult, because you want them to stand vertically and the tines make this hard to accomplish. Because the tines are so close together, bowls will fit only if you lie them flat, taking up a lot of space per bowl. ~Amazon customer
|After reading many bad reviews of Bosch dishwashers, I made the plunge. It is quiet, very high capacity, washes very well, dries at least as well as my old washer. We wanted an adjustable top rack but have not adjusted it in 3 months. Our washing schedule now depends on when we run out of dishes instead of when it is full.
If one stops the washer when the timer hits zero, it has not started drying, and the dishes will be wet. Just wait an hour and your dishes will be dry, at least as dry as old fashioned ones with an exposed heating element.
The high capacity means that the bottom is very close to the floor, so one must bend over to load and unload. Complaints about the bottom rack being hard to slide are because the door is not fully opened. ~Amazon customer
|Nice unit, washes well, extremely quiet when operating, uses very little detergent and water, seemingly water and energy efficient but it's too new for me to verify that claim. On the downside, cycles are very long (on the order of two hours for a normal load setting), the manual says you need to use rinse agent for best drying performance (works well so far with it, but out las dishwasher didn't require this extra expense). Also, as for capacity, this is advertised as a large unit with room for 14 place settings but the interior seems much smaller than our old Kitchen Aid Quiet Scrub, the tines are closely spaced limiting the ability to nest mostly all of our everyday medium sized bowls, and while there are options to fold down tines to accomodate larger items this simply further decreases the amount of items we can load because they need to be laid flat. Overall it's a nice unit and we'll get used to the loading and capacity issues, I just wasn't expecting it to be so much smaller than what we replaced. On Abe's, their price was unbeatable and the delivery was fast and safe even with the lowest free shipping option. ~AbesOfMaine customer |
|Extrmely quiet unit. Simple to install. Only complaints would be figuring out how to load most efficiently with our dishes and the drying process takes longer. Neither bother me but keep the unit from being perfect. ~AbesOfMaine customer |
|Can run the dw while sitting at the breakfast table in the same room and can't hear it until it starts draining. Even then it is quiet. When it is draining, company has asked if that was the dw and were amazed that they had not heard it before then.
Plastics can go on bottom because there is no heating element.
Only a couple of my dinnerware bowls will fit on the bottom rack at one time. But it holds a lot of plates of all sizes.
Love it and would recommend it. ~Number1Direct customer
