SHE43MO6UC/50 24" Bosch Built-in Dishwasher

After looking around, we bought our Bosch SHE43MO6UC/50 dishwasher at HHGregg three years ago for three reasons: the Bosch reputation, our friends said their Bosch dishwasher is super quiet, and it was the only dishwasher we could find in black.

What a terrible disappointment it's turned out to be!!

This dishwasher is supposed to be energy efficient, but the racks are so poorly laid out that we have to run more loads to clean the same number of dishes. Glasses wobble, the plates lean against one another so they come out unclean, and it's totally unclear what goes where (except for the utensil basket). After three years, we still haven't figured out how to maximize the available space. (Next time we purchase a dishwasher—and it won't be a Bosch—we'll take along a few dishes to see how well they fit.)

The dishes don't come out all that clean, either, so now we're buying a more costly Cascade product that's supposed to remove dried-on food——even though we rinse our dishes thoroughly before loading them (no dried on food).

It IS fairly quiet.
