Whirlpool ADP6000ix Dishwasher

I had a new kitchen installed just days before Christmas 2009 and got a brand new Whirlpool ADP600ix dishwasher... I was so excited to have a new dishwasher... Whirlpool I thought to be a respected brand.. I knew it wasn't a top of the range dishwasher but still i expected it to last longer than 7 weeks!

On first impressions it looks the part but on a practical level it is unfunctional. Our dinner plates (which aren't particularly large and fitted in our old dishwasher) don't fit in it properly, that was my first big disappointment.

The next one was the day it broke down... just 7 weeks after we bought it. Whirlpool have a terrible customer service I have now been trying for 2 months to get a response as to what they are going to do about it. I have had a service person out but now nothing the communication has gone dead and its not from my lack of trying.

I'm really disgusted with the way they haven't helped. I definitely would not recommend this dishwasher or whirlpool as a brand. I would stay well away!
