Our Whirlpool dishwasher review of model WDF530PAYM makes your work easier when searching for the perfect built in dishwasher.
We’ve done all the leg-work, scouring the internet and summarizing both the key features and customer feedback for this model, right here in one place!
Almost every review we found went into buying this machine due to the excellent and rock solid reputation of the Whirlpool name, and the reasonable price point. And the good news is that most of those consumers were not disappointed!
Everyone seemed to love both the flexibility of the utensil basket, which could pretty much be placed anywhere, as well as the extremely quiet performance of this model. And overall, most people found the 5 wash cycles got dishes (even pots and pans) clean. Of course, the stainless steel was a plus for many who wanted an attractive appliance.
In terms of drawbacks, long wash cycles made some wonder exactly how this could be an Energy Star rated product. Drying performance also seems to be lacking; many people consistently found water still pooled on top of cups and at the bottom of the machine after the dry cycle completed. And while the stainless steel exterior looks fabulous and very expensive, the plastic tub interior and plastic (though nylon coated) racks left some people feeling shortchanged.
Of course, there was the usual few reviews of people who did not like the layout, or the loading capabilities (compared to their previous dishwashers), but none of that seemed to be a deal-breaker by itself.
What does this mean for you?
It seems that the pros of this model outweigh the cons. Add to that the sharp looks and comfortable price range, and this could very well be a winner for you!
