Whirlpool DP8500XBN1

I got this model several years ago at a local, independent appliances shop.

They had it for sale for a very good price, though I don't remember now just what that was. It runs just as well now as it ever did. I have never had any problems with it, not even a tiny leak.

It is currently hooked up in the kitchen between the sink and the clothes washer. It's in a very handy location. I load two small areas in it with some Cascade powder and have to close up only one of them. I set it on the normal wash cycle and let it go. It does not take too long to run. It is a bit noisy, but I do not mind that.

I do only full loads when I run it. It gets everything clean but it helps if I clean off really sticky things in advance. Also, I stop it before the drying cycle and turn it off, then prop the door open to let the dishes air dry in order to save energy.

I don't even remember what dishwasher I had before that. It is a very well known brand, and I would buy another Whirlpool if I ever had to do so.
