Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner III

by Melissa
(Michigan)

We built a house a couple of years ago and purchased all new appliances (all whirlpool) from Lowe's for our home. I loved the fact that this dishwasher had the characteristic of being "quiet".

You see all of those commercials where you can't even hear the dishwasher working and then bam, the dishes are clean. This was a great dishwasher for about 6 months. Of course, it wasn't as "quiet" as I had hoped, but that was something I could have lived with.

After about 6 months it started leaving "dried residue" (not sure if it was clumps of soap, etc) on the insides of some of the cups. At first, I thought I would just run them through another cycle.

I could have ran them through 30 cycles and that stuff wouldn't come off! It doesn't leave new residue after each cycle and I have tried powder, tabs and liquid soap. It seems to pick and choose when it is going to clean and how well it is going to clean.

My cousin just built a house and they were looking to buy all new whirlpool appliances like ours as well. I told her I wouldn't go with this model just because of my experience. She took my advice and went with a different model. I hope she has better luck than I did!

Caught on Fire
by: Anonymous

Ours just caught on fire. Good thing we were home when it happened because it could have burned the house down, only 5 years old. What a piece of crap, should have kept the 20 year old one that was there, it worked fine. Whirlpool quality is very bad now

Seriously, don't bother. Will not clean the dishes consistently. The cycles take forever. You'll end up hand washing the baked on residue.

Horrible design.

7 years, one repair, then BURNT UP!
by: Anonymous

Preface and evnironment of use - We purchased our Whirpool Gold Quiet Partner III in May of 2004, so we've had it just over 7 years now. It's just my wife and myself and 2 cats here, so we have no children to "mess" with it and it doesn't see that heavy use that a big family would. We have perfectly soft water here (culligan system) thet supplies the water input.

Our experiences with it:

- It only seemed to be really "quiet" for most of the first year. After that it sounds pretty much just like any other dishwasher to me. And yes, the installer put the thick white insulation around the unit before inserting it under the countertop (without the insulation it would way louder).

- Not longer after switching to this model we started to see bit of a etching on a lot of our glassware.

But those are mild issues... here' the more serious:

- Just over a year ago a heat sensor on the motherboard / brina - a little tiny plastic part that couldn't cost more than $1 to make - burned out and need to be replaced. This ran us $over $130.00

- Now in November 2011, just two days before Thanksgiving, the "brain" or the "motherboard" circuit board spontaneasuly caught fire during a normal wash cycle. Black smoke poured from the front control panel and the house filled with toxic fumes. None of the buttons at this point had any affect - pressing "Cancel" etc... did nothing so the ONLY way to stop it was flipping the circuit breaker in the basement. The fumes are the only reason we caught it in time before it became a full-on fire. But the fumes are SO bad (burning our sinuses, burning our throut, making us sick to our stomachs) that we had to get the unit out of the house as quickly as possible. We tried just putting a window fan in the kitchen drawing the air out overnight, but that didn't help at all so I immediately removed the unit from the kitchen the next morning. The srtong toxic smell of burnt plastic and burnt circuit board components stayed very strong through the house for the first 48 hours, and still linger now on day 4.

Needless to say our experience with this unit ended up very badly.

There is a problem with the motherboards on these and we have discovered there is a class action lawsuit in progress on behalf of the many people who have had to pay for motherboard repairs and untilmately the unit eventually ended up spontaneously catching fire like ours.

We know this kind of thing could possible happen with any product, BUT we have discovered there are hundreds (if not thousands) of other owner's out there who have had the same experience of motherboard circuit problems and the unit catching on fire!! NOT A GOOD THING. We're consiering joining the class action suit, but who wants to wait a year to replace their dishwasher?

Works Great-
by: Anonymous

I've had a Whirlpool Quiet Partner III for 3 years. I bought it for the looks and large capacity. After the first three days I wanted to send it back... not wanting to give up, I switched to Cascade Complete, liquid and always use Jet Dry. The dishes are always clean with no spots. Every once in a while I run out of Cascade Complete and use another brand, sure enough the spots reappear. No problem, though, I rerun the dishes with Cascade Complete and the spots go away. I figure it has something to do with the water saving features.
I would recommend this dishwasher, but with the suggestion to use an excellent quality liquid detergent.

Six + years and still going strong
by: Anonymous

After seeing so many one star disgruntled reviews, I felt the need to add my own. We had the Whirlpool Quiet Partner 3 installed in our new home as part of the upgraded stainless steel appliance package. We've lived in the house now for six years as of July 2011. Never any problems with the dishwasher. No recalls. No leaks. It's very quiet. About a one hour wash cycle that gets our dishes spotless with the exception of the occasional crusty dish that should have been soaked first. We don't even use a liquid drying agent such as JetDry. The drying cycle works great and the only water that occasionally gets left behind is on those that don't get put in at an angle that allows most of the water to run off and ends up holding a puddle that the drying cycle can't completely evaporate. Maybe I "just happened" to get a good unit but we're completely happy with ours. When we get around to upgrading appliances one of these years, we probably won't replace it with another one only because we really want one of those two compartment washers that allow you to do half a load or a full load or two different wash cycles.

I REGRET THIS PURCHASE!
by: Disappointed in KY

I've had this dishwasher for about 4 years. I've hated it from the very first load of dishes. Right off the bat, there was a recall on some part (don't remember what). Had to call a technician to replace it. Quiet?? This dishwasher is anything but quiet!! It rarely ever got a load of dishes clean, and it took a very long time to run a cycle. Most times the soap won't dispense completely from the dispenser and I end up hand washing the dishes. Also, it overheated when drying (smelled bad & caused my kitchen to become "foggy"). So now I'm afraid to attempt to use it; can't afford to fix it at this time. This is the worst purchase I've ever made. Shame on you Whirlpool for making such a piece of CRAP!

Loud With Long Cycles
by: Anonymous

We bought this washer shortly after moving into an older house. It is installed in a pininsula portion of the cabinets, and I understand this makes it louder. But after the installer gave it a test run, and it reverberated throughout this fairly large house, we crammed insulation all around the back and sides. This helped, but it is still louder than the origional one which was school bus yellow with dials (yeah, it was old). Also, the "normal cycle" runs for well over 2 hours, not including drying. I've found that if you use the "adaptive cycle", it cuts down on time. But doesn't clean as well, and still twice as long as any other washer i've owned. And the soap door needs to be constantly cleaned and is hard to close. Only a year and half old. I'm weary of the more serious problems (leaking, etc...) starting soon.

Buttons
by: Anonymous

I have had this dishwasher for less than 2 years and all the round buttons are peeling off! FYI, my dishwasher gets run once or twice a week, so its not like it is overworked to be having any kind of worn issues! The upper dishrack falls off the track easily and the silverware cage falls off the door because it has a very cheap latch. This is the first time I have spent so much money on a high end dishwasher and thoroughly disappointed. I have never had issues with the lower end models or other brands. I will never by Whirlpool again.

JUNK
by: Anonymous

This is the worst dishwasher we ever owned. We just have it 3 months and after each washing cycle, there is this brown slime on the walls and sides and roof of the dishwasher. You can actually write you name in it, it's so thick.
I would never buy a Whirlpool again. We are thoroughly disgusted and are waitinf for the company repair man to come tomorrow to give us some nitwit song and dance. Bottom line is, this machine is a lemon and a hunk of junk. I had a Kitchen Aid for years and it never did this, nor did my Maytag. It has mold in it and I am going to call the Dept. Of Health and tell them the appliance center is selling products that produce mold. Plus I took photos.
I want my money back and to get this hunk of moldy garabage out of my house.
DON'T buy from Beiters or Whirlpool.

Whirpool quiet partnet III does not wash properly
by: Anonymous

We bought this dishwasher a few years ago. After less than a year, the top dishes would not wash. I noticed that I had to broken glass and some olive and lemon pits stuck on the grid, below the drain holes. I used my wet/dry vacuum and a small plastic tube to remove all this junk, and now it works. A trap to access this grid would have been a blessing.... clearly very poor engineering from whirlpool. I will not go back to them any more, specially with all these nasty reviews !

Whirlpool dishwasher is junk
by: Anonymous

I also purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher Gold series quiet partner 2.
It cleaned well for about 18 months.
After that the same problems with not cleaning on the top rack.
As a plumber I have installed dozens of dishwashers, the Kenmore I removed from my house was 25 years old, cleaned great but had started leaking.
I decided to put my trust in a Whirlpool.
HUGE mistake, I will never purchase another appliance of theirs of any type.
This is based not just on the lousy dishwasher performance but more on how I waited for over fifty minutes on their 1-800 help line, got no help and there non-response to various e-mails.
I recognize that manufactured products can have problems but I recognize more how a company deals with them or in this case does not.
Just so you folks know, I fixed the problem with my Whirlpool.
I had removed a Kenmore dishwasher from a customers house that was about five years old.
I noticed that the racks although different in design and the tub inside were identical to Whirlpools.
I swapped out he top rack with the attached cleaning arm and bingo!
Dishes came out sparkling clean.

handy guys pod cast
by: Richard

Just wanted to add that I watched the handy guys pod cast as suggested, and then proceeded to clean my Whirlpool QP III. We had a lot of old detergent build up and food particles clogging the bottom of our machine. Took about 45 minutes start to finish to clean it out but our dishwasher is like new. Glasses on the top rack come out clean with no cloudy film. I also ran a quick rinse with some CLR. That help also I think. Try it, you have nothing to lose. Pod cast does a great job of explaining exactly what to do.

broken in 4 years!
by: Extremely disappointed

In Dec 2006, we purchased a Whirlpool gold Quiet Partner III dishwasher (model # GU3200XTSS0) for $900!! (stainless interior and exterior)
4 short years later, the motor ceased and the repairman said that was highly unusual for its age, but would cost $300 for a replacement motor/sump! We thought we made a good decision with going with a more expensive dishwasher and a "reliable" brand name; we were wrong! Now we are considering going with a cheaper model (and different brand, of course)! Very disappointed in Whirlpool :(

I have written to whirlpool several times, no response.
It has never cleaned or dried the dishes.
Now it does not get water either.

Whirlpool Brand(s)
by: Anonymous

I would not recommend purchasing this unit, even to my worst enemy. My wife and I have had nothing but problems with the unit since we bought it.

It did clean and dry fine, when it was working...we have had servicemen out 3 different times now, and it just died completely, after 5yr.

My wife and I purchased a whole house full of Whirlpool appliances about 5.5yr. ago, thinking Whirlpool was "top of the line". What I can will tell you is that we have had problems with our Whirlpool microwave, dishwasher, range, clothes washer and refridgerator. I would would highly recommend that you stay away from any Whirlpool, Maytag & Kenmoore appliances, since they are all Whirlpool Brand(s). I know that I'll never buy another, as long as I live!

Longest Running Dishwasher Ever
by: Rommel

I bought a new house with this dishwasher and the first time we tried to wash a load, the dishwasher was still chugging away after 2 and a half hours. That's right -- prepare to wait at least three hours for a single load of dishes.

Unfortunately, after three hours, all the dishes were still dirty. I have no idea what the machine was doing all that time, but it sure was making a lot of noise (it's not very quiet at all, contrary to the name).

Terrible Buy
by: Anonymous

We have had this dishwasher for about 2 years now and it is the cheapest piece of junk i think anyone could buy. We run the machine maybe one time every two days and after the two years of usage it is already falling apart. Our old Kenmore that we had lasted 10 years and it was not even in as bad of condition as this machine is now. Ever since the first day it has not gotten all of the dishes completely clean which defeats the puropse of a dishwasher. The construction is about 90% plastic and 10% metal. the plastic is cheap and is used for purposes that a good lasting machine would never use plastic for. The metal that is used in the machine is already beginning to rust and decay. Whirlpool did a TERRIBLE job in creating a good quality machine that would make their customers happy. However, they did do a good job at planned obsolenscence. To sum it all up, DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK.

Don't give up - Cleaning problems are easily fixable
by: Anonymous

I have owned the Whirlpool Quiet Partner 3 GU2400XTP (very similar to many Kenmore and Kitchenaid models as well) for about 5 years. I was ready to give up on it and buy a new dishwasher. The Top rack was not cleaning at all, to the extent that it would not even rinse out milk from my daughter's sippy. The cleaning on the bottom rack was marginal. I had examined all the mechanisms for the top sprayer and didn't find anything apparently wrong but I researched a little further and found there may be a problem with the pump drain and chopper. I found the following video referencing a Kenmore dishwasher and followed it because the mechanical parts of my dishwasher were very similar. There were screws rather than clips holding in the linkage for the top spray arm, but the screws to the pump housing were all the same. I had a lot of trouble getting the chopper housing off because it was very calcified. I probably could have made it easier on myself if I had run a vinegar cycle before I began. When I opened my dishwasher up I found a ton of debris in the drain housing where the dirty water is expelled. It was clogged with broken glass, and a couple small pieces of plastic. There was also a lot of calcification inside the mechanism. Once I cleaned this out, I ran a pots and pans cycle with a cup of vinegar and my dishwasher is back to cleaning like new. One of those proud homeowner moments and I am happy that I saved myself the cost of a new dishwasher. If you consider yourself at all handy, watch the video below, get a torx screwdriver and give this a shot. You will thank yourself when you are done.

Washing a Dishwasher?
by: Mike

We bought our home in 2008 and the dishwasher was likely new some time in the six months prior (new kitchen installed, ergo new appliances).

I have never in my life had a dishwasher that I've had to clean....that's right....clean.

The stench from gradual build up of slime is ridiculous!

Dishwasher Magic helps for a little while, but the stench and slime comes back!

Never been so disappointed with a dishwasher in my life!

Some of the comments on here speak of how much time the timer shows. Are you speaking of the Whirlpool Quiet Partner III, which is the dishwasher this comment thread is speaking of? I have this very model and I don't see a timer anywhere. Where do you guys have a timer at? Does it show on the outside somewhere? Do you have this same exact model? Are there different models of the Quiet Partner III, some with toimers and some without? I'm confused. It's still a cruddy dishwasher!!!

Whirlpool Quiet Partner III
by: Derek

It is a very loud and slow dishwasher (and it leaks)! About a year after we started using it we noticed a leak at the bottom left corner. Now we have to place a container underneath the corner to catch the water. I will never buy another Whirlpool appliance. I also have a Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer. It's either the ice cube delivery not working properly or the ice cubes creating a huge ice chunk, or the ice maker jamming. I also have a Whirlpool oven/range, the temperature in the oven is up to 100 deg. F off of the displayed temperature. I purchased a thermometer to stick in the oven when it is baking to double check the temperature, and adjust the listed baking temperature. DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCES!!!!

We bought the Whirlpool Quiet Partner 111 about 5 years ago. There are only two adults in this house and we eat out a lot and take vacations so it has not been used much. It is junk. We had a service call within the warranty period. Now no water gets to the top rack and the bottom rack doesn't clean well at all. The GE that was in the house when we bought it lasted 15 years! A terrible dishwasher
by: Anonymous

Dishwashers are designed to wash dishes. Apparently, Whirlpool designed this appliance to do something else. Every 6 months, something goes wrong--the most frequent problem is that the dishwasher gets stuck midway through the wash cycle, showing 44 minutes, cycling, but going no further. We've had techs out at least 6 times to check and repair the machine, and they have only guesses, but no answers. We will NOT buy another Whirlpool appliance. What a waste.

Want to throw it away
by: Anonymous

Do not buy this POC!!!!! We just bought our house 6 months ago, and this dishwasher is about 7 yrs old , but has not worked good for us at all. It constantly leaves a filthy water stain, dishes come out dirtier then they were going in, the water doesn't always drain out after a cycle, the soap dispenser doesn't always open with each cycle, the dishwasher can't even clean the dishwasher even when I do it with no dishes in it, it has now started making a shrieking noise, the top sprayer doesn't work any more.

I thought that some of these problems were due to the parts and filters needing to be cleaned out. Well I took them apart, and yes they were disgusting but yet nothing was really clogged any where. The line to the top sprayer was dirty on the outside, but not on the inside. The filter was clean, and there was hardly any junk at the bottom of everything. It needs to be replaced, but until I have the money for it I guess I have to wash dishes by hand. = (

Great Dishwasher
by: Anonymous

We purchased a home in August 2010 - this dishwasher was in the kitchen (along with 2 other drawer dishwashers). I have a family of 4 so the 1/2 dishwashers didn't make much sense to me - I just wanted to use 1 large dishwasher. When I first started using it, it didn't work well at all. The dishes on the bottom were cleaned well - not the ones on the top. Every time we used the unit, the dishes were getting less and less clean.
After doing some research - I had a repairman come out. He took the dishwasher apart and found that the chopping mechanism was dislodged and a strainer was covered in what appeared to be a paper towel - not letting any water throgh. Our repairman ordered the new part and now it cleans BEAUTIFULLY. I felt for $170 it was worth it. It's 9 years old and I'm sure I will have it for at least 9 more.

does what is expected to do
by: Anonymous

I have mixed feelings about our Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner III dishwasher. Overall, I have usually been happy with Whirlpool appliances but sometimes I feel this dishwasher is on the cheap side. It was pre-installed in the condo I live in so I had no choice in the decision of the model I use. The dishwasher does what is expected in that it cleans the dishes well, the majority of the time. It does have a little difficulty achieving a good clean when something is stuck to a pot or pan and it can leave watermarks. Another great thing about this dishwasher is I am able to fit lots of dishes into one load.

Two issues I have experienced with this dishwasher are smell and the soap dispenser occasionally sticks. I run the loads with a dry cycle and open the washer when the cycle is finished to allow for a better drying of the dishes and washer. Unfortunately, the dishwasher still has a odd smell even if there are no dirty dishes loaded. This machine is only 2 years old so it shouldn't be an age thing. Secondly, the soap dispenser occasionally gets stuck so I run it again with the same soap in and the dispenser open. Overall, if it weren't for the smell, I would definitely recommend this dishwasher.

Embed a brass fitting with a hex head blocked by security bits (instead of screws) mating up through a metal bracket into plastic.

What a joke - I've yet to see the new design.
It's funny but my clothes washer can use a hose to hose non-bursting hose but my dishwasher inlet can't ?

dirty dishwasher
by: Anonymous

not only does the quiet partner III not clean the dishes,I spend alot of time cleaning the dishwasher itself. The interior never looks clean, even after a wash cycle. If you buy this dishwasher, prepare to wash your dishes before you put them in,after you take them out and then wash the dishwasher in hope that if might clean the next load.

POC
by: Susan

After 2 1/2 years - my motor sounds like a drag racing car. Had problems early on with it running water for the startup at least a couple of hours. The repair guy blamed on my water (being too cold). Guess he didn't want to make Whirlpool mad. The silverware basket is cheaply made and flops open, leaving me digging all of my silverware out of the bottom of the washer. I have had to add the Munchkin holders to my dishwasher just to hold things because the basket is so terrible.

Junk
by: Anonymous

My Quiet Partner III worked well for exactly two years. Dishes came out amazingly clean and this thing was whisper quiet. Then all of a sudden one day it started shutting off mid-cycle and flashing a bunch of lights on the display. A bit of detective work revealed either a faulty computer control or a bad heater. I took a flyer and bought a $35 heater; problem solved. 6 months later the dishwasher started shrieking during the wash cycle.

So much for whispering. Turns out the seal on the motor shaft failed allowing water to creep into the front bearing. Bad, bad, bad. One really rusted bearing and a severely corroded motor shaft spells $130 for a new motor assembly. Whirlpool sells junk. Run don't walk from this dishwasher. The seal design is really bad and this won't be my last motor assembly. It will be the last Whirlpool I buy.

Good for a while, now stinks
by: Anonymous

Put this in about 18 months ago. No problems and did it's job well. However, about 1 month ago, started leaving residue on all the dishes. No change in soap, water, etc. $60 bucks to have a pro come out to look, and then whatever else to actually fix it. I think I'll just get a new one.

Terrible dishwasher
by: PH

This is a horrible dishwasher. It came with the house we bought, which was brand new. It doesn't close properly, it leaves a film all over the dishes. My clear glass are all now white and I can't get it off. It doesn't clean...anything. I have stopped using it all together when water was flowing out the side of the door.

noisy and doesn't clean
by: Roger Bannister

Going on our second year with this. Don't buy an Energy Star "Quiet" dishwasher... they are all junk. The way they are energy efficient and "quiet" is they put little dinky pumps on them that barely squirt ANY water on the dishes... it is also why they are SO quiet. Trickling water does not make any noise... rushing water makes a lot of noise. Additionally, they run forever... 2-4 hours per wash cycle, so instead of getting the noise over with, you have to listen to the stinking washer forever!

Mine was somewhat quiet when new, now it is just as noisy as an non quiet partner. Furthermore, I noticed when I took my old washer out it had a great deal MORE insulation around it than my new one.

Unless you put on the pot scrubber cycle (the 4 hour cycle), you can expect to have dirty dishes coming out from the dishwasher. Some people think I ought to wash my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher... for those idiots, why not just call them dish sanitizers if you have to wash the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher?

I'll buy a whirlpool again, just the bottom of the line model that is NOT Energy Star rated or "quiet." The last baby I had really cleaned the dishes and then shut off (about 1/2 hour) so I could enjoy the real quiet... a machine that isn't running.

Whirlpool Quiet partner III
by: Anonymous

Whirlpool Quiet partner III.
This machine is a complete mess. It does NOT clean dishes, it does NOT clean pots and pans, it does NOT clean glasses. This dishwasher ruins every piece of glasswear that I put into it. I am looking for a good older model used dishwasher that some uppercrust is unhappy with the looks of and plans to get a new POS. All appliances that the stores are selling now are cheaply made and dont run worth a darn. Give me the older ones. THEY ran forever.

unless you fill the darn detergent holder just right - i.e., no spill, just the right amount, it will not close.

makes me mad every time i run it.

Just getting started
by: Anonymous

So far, Whirlpool did not impress me right out the gate. At the store I was told the Quiet Partner III was the best on the market. I bought into all the hype and looking over the dishwasher in the store, it looked like it would fulfill all of our needs. So I purchased it and brought it home. After ripping my old dishwasher out, I started getting setup to put in the new one only to find that Whirlpool has come up with this "New Style Connector" that does not connect to the hoses that I had or the hoses from the kit that I bought. So I looked through the instructions. Nothing in there about the "new style connector". Then I noticed an additional piece of paperwork. Whirlpool could not even re-print their booklets to include the new information, let alone have the "new style connector" come with the purchase. So I had to drive 60 miles again, just to pay $8.00 for a Whirlpool "New Style Connector". Thanks Whirlpool. I sure hope that the performance of the dishwasher makes up for the BS scam they are doing with using odd-size connectors. I went to my local plumbing store and they could not even come up with anything that would work. You have to pay extra for the connector to attach the hose to the dishwasher. What a bunch of BS!!!

Our Sucked
by: JPS

Had it for 5 years, pump went out, which caused it to leak, which buckled are hardwood floor and ruined the motor. Total repair price was $375. $42 for the house call diagnosis. We scrapped it and bought a Kenmore. Won't be buying Whirpool anytime soon.

Looks nice but yy dishes weren’t coming out clean
by: Anonymous

Pros
- Very quiet
- It looked nice

Cons
- Dishes weren’t coming out clean
- Uses more energy

When my family and I moved into our new house, we wanted to purchase new appliances. So, we started looking at different types of dishwashers and prices. One that caught our eye was the Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner. Not only was it nice to look at, there was a sign attached to it that said that it used less water than other dishwashers.

When we had it delivered, we were exited to use it. My son said that written on another tag attached said that you could put a cake in it and the dish would come out clean. I was very impressed with the quietness of this dishwasher.

Our old GE brand, even though it cleaned well, would drown out the television every time we used it. We used the dishwasher about 10 times before I noticed some inconsistencies. My dishes weren’t coming out clean. The different cycles: pots/pans, adaptive wash, heated wash, etc. seemed to all work the same.

The heated drying cycle - the only one we ended up using - used more energy, according to my husband, so I couldn’t use that often. When I didn’t use heated dry, the dishes would be soaking wet at the end of the wash cycle.

In conclusion, I think we paid $450 for the physical appearance of the dishwasher; it is nice to look at. My old GE dishwasher may have been loud, but it washed much better. Even my kids have commented that they don’t like the dishwasher, when they have to put dirty utensils in the sink after taking it out of the dishwasher, that just finished cleaning them! I’m now inquiring about exchanging/returning it even though I’ve already had it for 9 months.

Nice and quiet
by: Anonymous

I have had this dishwasher about six years. I like it because it heats the water itself and of course you can hardly tell when it is going my old one was really loud.

Have not had to fix this one or do anything to it. The dishes always come out clean and dry I would recommend it to anyone that does a lot of dishes like I do anyone with kids.

Quiet and cleans great
by: Anonymous

I purchased my dishwasher two years ago from PC Richards & Sons. I had never had much luck with dishwashers before. With a family of eight, my machine would run constantly. Within fifteen years, I had gone through four dishwashers. I decided to spend a little extra money for the Quiet Partner III and I am very glad I did.

It runs beautifully. It is quiet and cleans the dishes great. I love it. There is never any residue on any of the glasses like I had with previous machines. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone.
