Whirlpool Gold Quiet Wash Plus

I bought my house in 2001 with this Whirlpool dishwasher model already installed. The original owners said that the dishwasher was only a few months old. This dishwasher works as well today as it did when we purchased the house.

I like the fact that it is still very quiet for being over five years old, and that's surprising. I also like the fact that the interior is still white and looks good. It does a great job cleaning the dishes and silverware.

I also like the china rack that is on top, although it only is used during Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are a family of coffee drinkers and the top rack can hold a lot of coffee cups. The top rack is very sturdy and well made. I have had other dishwashers that have warped or bent due to the weight of all our coffee cups.

The bottom rack is roomy and easy to pull out. One thing that I don't like about this dishwasher is that I cannot tell when the Jet-Dry dispenser is empty, I tend to forget to check.

Also, I wish that it was big enough to hold a full bottle of Jet-Dry, not 3/4 of it. In the past seven years, I have only had to replace one thing and I believe that part was just worn out. I would definitely reccommend a Whirlpool to anyone.
