Our landlord recently purchased for our rental home a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II when our old dishwasher died. We needed something large enough for a four-person household. With all the adults in the house working, it was a bad time for our old dishwasher do quit on us.
So far, it has been a great dishwasher. We are very pleased with it. It cleans much better than our old dishwasher, and it runs very quietly. It came in black, and has several indicator lights, including the wash cycle and the rinse cycle, and it tells you when the dishes are clean.
It is spacious inside, contains a rack attached on the inside of the door for forks, spoons, and knives, cutlery, and other utensils and has a large washer blade that evenly disperses the soap and water.
We couldn't be more happy with this brand and this model of dishwasher. With everyone in the house working, there is no time for cleaning dishes by hand. Our Whirlpool leaves no residue or stains behind. Our previous dishwasher had a bad problem with that.
This one also makes the soap go a long way, even coating the dishes. It is a very good dishwasher. It does a great job.

almost perfect! by: Anonymous
Features: -4 Cycles: Pots & pans, Normal, Light, and Rinse only
-5 Options: Soak/Scour, Hi temp wash, Sani-rinse, and Heated dry
I love this dishwasher, it is really relatively quiet on the non scour cycles, and cleans really well even with the less expensive brands of dish washing soap. This dishwasher came with our new house and I have been using it for two years without a single real issue.
I am married and have five kids so we go though a lot of dishes in a week and this machine keeps up and washes one to two loads a day.
Light Cycle is fastest and is washed and dried in less than 2 hours. We use this or the regular cycle the most and they are both pretty quiet and efficient.
We rarely have any dirty dishes that need to be rewashed, after using the two easiest cycles, ie the Normal and the Light.
The soak and scour cycle takes a very long time to complete, nearly five hours so I rarely use it. This cycle is rather loud, so this part does not really live up to the name “Quiet Partner”.
Also you really have to watch if you put your silverware in the space just under the dishwashing detergent dispenser as it can leave a soap residue, possible due to being only inches above it.
I would recommend this dishwasher to a friend and it comes with a stainless steel front which makes it very attractive and modern looking.

best dishwasher i have owned by: Kelly
This is the 6th dishwasher I have owned, and is by far the best. I bought this dishwasher after purchasing a GE the previous year, and having it break down in it's second year, the replacement parts were too expensive to be worth the repair.
This Whirlpool is not an expensive dishwasher (in fact,it costs less than the GE), and yet washes dishes without having to prewash/rinse every item before loading.
I know this because of a daughter with an attitude, who decided to get even with me for making her do the dishes that night. She loaded it with the dishes that had sat for hours, scraps left on the plates, etc.
To my surprise, nearly every dish came out perfect.
I have also noticed that Ecover brand dish detergent does work better in this machine than some other brands I have tried.
