I bought the Whirlpool Quiet partner II after my Bosh stopped draining after 7 years of use. First let me say that I never had a problem with my bosh until it stopped draining. And the dishwashers I had previously lasted years without problems. I have had the Whirlpool for just over a year. I bought it because I trusted the Whirlpool name. Let me tell you it is NOT quiet! It leaves a film residue on my dishes. I have had 2 service calls about this issue and both time I was told I was using the wrong detergent or too much. I have tried switching detergents, only using a very small amount and, as I was advised by the last service guy, not to rinse my dishes before running it. It is suppose to help the detergent break down. I have never been advised not to rinse my dishes before and I have had dishwashers for 20 years! I hate the fact that the silverwear tray is in the door. it makes it hard to load and since the bottom is not flat you cant set it on a counter to load or empty it. I have never disliked a dishwasher as much as I dislike this one! And after only having it a year, I'm looking to replace it. This makes me leary of buying another Whirlpool dishwasher!
