Pros - good amount of space
- dishes come out clean
Cons - price
- not as quiet as had hoped
My household purchased the Whirlpool Quiet Partner II as an upgrade in the last 2 months. I like that the silverware rack is in the door, which frees up more space for pots/pans and dishes. We are very happy with the height of the top rack.
The Quiet Partner allows for all of our stemware to fit, unlike our previous dishwasher. I also like the options of Sani-Rinse and Heated Dry. I normally use Heated Dry, but when I was sick with a cold I made sure to use the Sani-Rinse cycle.
The price of the machine was more than we had wanted to pay, but because of all of the benefits, we made the sacrifice in cost. The model we bought is stainless steel and provides a clean, modern look to our kitchen. The Quiet Partner is less noisy than our last dishwasher, but it still makes a good deal of noise -- more noise than we had hoped.
In addition the "Normal" wash cycle with the Heated Dry seems to take longer than our old machine. However, the Quiet Partner does have a timer so I can set the cycle for a time that the family is out of the house and when we return the dishes are complete! We also like the built in food disposer.
While dishes cannot be put in with large particles of food, a light scraping of plates is all that is needed before beginning the wash. The food disposer insures that food particles are disposed of and the rinse water is clean. All in all I am very happy with the purchase.

Not satisfied by: Paul Kessler
After two years, the silverware is spotted, the regular glasses are foggy and have to be hand rinsed before using, and the machine runs for over 3 hours in the normal cycle with heat. That is not energy efficient.
Overall, I am not satisfied. Also, you should go to the internet and see all the complaints about whirlpool dishwashers and how many people would never buy a whirlpool product again. You might learn something.
